FAQs

  • While we do provide snacks every day, campers and counselors will need to bring lunch from home to eat at camp!

*If you are not comfortable with us providing daily snacks for your camper(s), you are welcome to send something from home for your camper(s). If you choose to do that, please notify us.

  • On the registration form, there is a section where you can provide us with information on your camper’s allergies. We will take note of them, and their individual counselors will be informed. If it is a food allergy, we will ensure that the daily snacks we provide are safe for the camper to eat. For any other type of allergy, we will do our best to make sure your camper avoids it. If your camper has to take medications or any other type of allergy relief during the day, we ask that you provide us with the specifics in the appropriate section of the registration form.

  • You can reach us anytime via our contact section! It is located at the bottom of the home page.

Additionally, please feel free to email Ever at evercooke11@gmail.com.

  • Camp Firefly is a unique model of staff ages 11-16 working together to create the best possible experience for campers. Staff members are hand-selected through an application process and are typically acquaintances of the Camp Firefly organizers. Additionally, staff members are required to attend an orientation meeting that prepares them for their week as a leader and educates them on what it means to be a Camp Firefly staff member.

If you would like specific staff-to-camper ratios, names of counselors leading your child’s group, or any additional information, please submit a query on the site or contact evercooke11@gmail.com.

  • All official communication will typically be sent by email. You can also find regular updates on our website and social media!

  • Yes! Camp Firefly has a minimum of two legal adults on site in case of emergency during all camp hours. If you would like to contact any of the supervising adults, please reach out to evercooke11@gmail.com to get started.

  • We are pleased to announce that throughout the 2026 session Camp Firefly will be selling T-Shirts with the camp logo and name. Further information will be released closer to the week of camp, including cost and how to purchase a shirt.

  • While we do our best to accommodate group pairing requests, we ask that unless it is a need, please do not make a request. Staff members are diligent in matching groups together with variety in age in the hope that unique connections will be formed throughout the week of camp. However, we do understand that in some circumstances, a request needs to be made. Please notify us of this in the appropriate section of the camper registration form.

  • Registration is first come, first serve. If spots for the session are full, please contact evercooke11@gmail.com to join the waitlist.
